PPSMI OOO ppsmi
olaaaa
ppsmi...yesterday i was watching bulletin utama...gazing the screen....suddenly one exciting news capture my hearings....that is PPSMi
YAB Datuk Hishammuddin wants to do a survey or shall i say a research on why ppsmi fail.....mmm my opinion...
the ppsmi project..it is a very good and functional project...if there is a give and take situation going on between the MOE and the teachers...from the experiences that i have encounter, i can say that this project will be a successful one if teachers wants to learn, take initiative to create functional classes using technology provided and know the cause and effect of the subjects to the students...i know that it will be a teribble workload but if it is done systematically and take deep consideration in the training given, at least if not all...it will help 80% of the PPSMI project..isn't that good or bad...
and i personally think that speaking, learning, and knowing subject matter in English ... means no harm at all to the students nor the teachers...long before we were born, our education system uses 100% english as main medium of speech...even exams ... MCE or LCE are all in english...and best part when they graduated from school, they are not afraid to converse in English...BUT not now...young generations today...hardly speak in English.... doesn't want to accept changes and shy to speak in English because .... malulah..sat gi salah cakap..grammar hancur...salah sebut...
i have a friend whom i introduced to an employer who is seeking for an employee...during the interview, she just sat down quitely and all she does was to nod her head...why????
because the interviewer speaks in english...when i asked her do u understand, she says YES but i cannot answer him back because i do not know how to say it in English....sad...she is very near to the post given yet very far to be accepted...so everyone...THINK ABOUT IT.....THINK BIG...
